As a teacher on 9/11 in Princeton Junction, N.J., I had to not only teach but also put on an Academy Award winning performance. I had to act as if all was well with the world so my young students wouldn't suspect anything.
On a personal level I knew my husband Jerry was being reactivated with the N.J. State Guard. Since my school was on the rail line to NYC, many of my students were affected. Kindergartener William Feehan III lost his grandfather William Feehan - First Deputy Fire Commissioner of the FDNY. 9/11 is a day I will never forget. God Bless America and God Bless Us All.
